License for music in media — license for all municipalities

The prices refer to the license fee for music use in accordance with applicable terms (for terms, see the next page).

*By music or media education is meant programmes with a special emphasis on, e.g., subjects such as music, rhythmics with dance, instrument/vocals, media communication, music and communication, multimedia, moving image, video production technology, audio production technology and Media Production A–B.

Fees are stated excluding VAT.

Definitions and special conditions

Scope

The license fee covers permissions from STIM/NCB and IFPI/SAMI for recording, making copies and reproducing the teachers' and pupils' own audio and audiovisual productions. The license also includes permissions from STIM/NCB and IFPI/SAMI for radio and TV broadcasting as well as transmission of the teachers' and pupils' own audio and audiovisual productions via the school's website and the school's intranet.

The terms do not include:

  • Recorded background music in the school's common areas.
  • Background music in catering areas open to the public.
  • Live performances for students, staff and the public.
