Stim Music Expo - more eclectic than ever
Asia, film music, digitalization, production music, feedback panels and awards - but also room for individual creativity. The program at this year's STIM Music Expo was perhaps more eclectic than ever before. And even the best, if you believe the participants.
We didn't offer much filling in the program during the STIM Music Expo on 19 October. With so many interesting guests in one day, visitors had to keep their concentration up.
Eva Dahlgren started off the day with an opening speech about the importance of believing in yourself. "I do not understand why we musicians have such poor self esteem about their great art form," she said and got a standing ovation. This pretty much set the standards of the day with very much appreciated highligts like the feedback panel and the awards being presented to SVT, the Swedish public service television, and to artist and songwriter Tove Lo.
