Deceased rightsholders whom Stim lacks information about
On this page we list deceased rightsholders connected to unpaid Stim royalties. More information is needed to be able make the payments. Can you help us identify the right recipients?
Stim's overall objective is to always pay compensation to the person whose music has been played publicly, and we continue to collect and pay royalties for 70 years after the rightsholder has passed away. Unfortunately, there are cases where we do not receive information about who inherited the rights to the musical works of the deceased, resulting in that we are unable to make the payments.
We therefore ask for help. If you recognize anyone on the list of deceased rightsholders and have the information we are looking for, please get in touch. Thank you!
Facts about the list of deceased rightsholders
The list shows the deceased individual's name or beneficiary, the deceased individual's date of birth and when they passed away. Note that there are cases where we completely lack information about when a rightsholder was born or died, but the individual is still included in the list because Stim has reason to believe that the rightsholder or beneficiary is no longer alive. If it turns out that a person on the list is actually alive and Stim's information is incorrect, this is deeply regrettable. In that case we hope to be able to contact the person, explain the situation and pay compensation.
