About our payment on December 17

For more than one hundred years, we have paid royalties to songwriters and music publishers, but never before as much as this December. These record monies are largely due to royalties for radio and TV, the Private Copying Levy, thousands of live shows, and much more.

Remember that your songs must have accumulated at least SEK 100 for you to receive a payment. As long as your balance is lower, your money is saved until you reach the threshold. The payment takes place on December 17, and the money will normally be in your account within two working days.

Correction of previous TV commercial distributions

We have corrected royalties for music in TV commercials distributed in December 2023 and June 2024 concerning the networks TV3, TV4, Kanal 5, TV6, and Sjuan. While performing a system upgrade, we noted that the compensation for music in commercials was distributed incorrectly on these two occasions. The result is that some rightsholders receive increased incomes in December 2024, while others will see a drop.

When is the next payment?

The next royalty payment will be made on February 25, 2025 and covers Youtube, Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify and many other streaming services.
