Remember that your songs must have accumulated at least SEK 100 in order for you to receive a payment. If your balance is less than SEK 100 then the amount is saved until you reach the threshold. Payment will take place on December 16th and you normally have the money in your account that very day. Sometimes however, depending on which bank you are using, it will take a few days more for the funds to reach your account, so we kindly ask for your patience.

Royalties for rentals and purchases in Viaplay
Last year saw the start for Viaplay to STIM’s rightsholders, covering the subscription part of the video streaming service. In December 2021, we are happy to include royalties for rentals and purchases for the first time, reaching from 2017 until June 2021. As usual, regular subscription royalties for Viaplay are also part of our December payment.
Music in cinemas back on track
The December payment contains as much as six months of music in cinemas meaning we are finally back on track with cinema payments. Consequently, we are moving away from the abnormal payment periodicity that started in 2020, when the new cinema agreement came into force.
When is the next payment?
The next royalty payment will be made on February 15th, 2022, and covers music played on Spotify and several other digital music services.
