In 2013 Export Music Sweden and Musiksverige issued a questionnaire to organizations in the Swedish music industry to explore their views on target markets for export. In 2015 a follow-up survey was conducted.

STIM and the music publisher Kobalt have decided not to extend their collaboration agreement signed in the spring of 2013. The partnership included a direct licensing solution for multi-territorial digital music services across Europe.

The parent companies, PRS for Music and STIM, have appointed Craig Nunn, currently CFO of PRSfM, as interim CEO of ICE.

On Thursday the 19th, Stim affiliated producer and song writer Martin Sandberg received the Swedish Governments 2014 Music Export Prize along with the honorary price for lengthy and substantial efforts in promoting Swedish music export.
