What is a music report?

By music report we mean a list of the music that has been played on a specific occasion – put simply, a set list. STIM collects payment from e.g. a concert promoter and then pays the money to the music creators and music publishers that own the rights to the songs. For us to know how the money is to be split, we must receive a complete list of the songs that were played. The list is sent by either the band, artist, or choir that performed the music – but in some cases, it is sent to STIM by the concert promoter. You can submit a music report to STIM on My Pages – you may first need to be authorized to report live performances.
